Kari Schein, E-RYT 500
Kari Schein is a Katonah Yoga® teacher, sound artist, and lifelong educator whose teaching blends structure, breath, and imagination. She first came to yoga more than thirty years ago as an athlete seeking balance, and soon discovered a practice that supported her body, steadied her mind, and opened a lasting path of study.
With over three decades of experience in Montessori education—and extensive training in Katonah Yoga®, nidra, breathwork, and vibrational sound medicine—Kari brings a grounded, heart-centered presence to her classes. Her approach weaves the geometry of asana with seasonal awareness and therapeutic sound, helping students build stability, functional mobility, and a more regulated nervous system.
Students often describe her morning flows as fresh and inspiring, offering new ways to experience both body and mind. At Yandara, Kari feels honored to guide others through meaningful transformation within a warm and supportive community.
